Wendell Byrd Gibbs, age 67, of Lewisburg, KY, died Wednesday, December 5, 2007, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, KY He was a truck drive and was employed by Carpenters and was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist . He was also a member of the Logan County Tractor Club & did Mission Work. He was the son of the late Walter Gibbs and Irene Gibbs of Elkton .Ky He is also survived by his wife; Melba Gibbs of Lewisburg, Ky. Two Daughters: Cindy K. West, Bardstown, KY Mindy Hendrix, Russellville, KY One Son: Mark Gibbs, Auburn, KY One Sister: Sheridan Higdon, Elkton, Ky. Three Step Sons: Bruce Thornberry, Arlington, Tx.. James Thornberry, Lewisburg, Ky. Mark Thornberry, Lewisburg, Ky. 13 Grandchildren & 4 Step Grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St. - P.O. Box 299, Lewisburg, KY with Visitation at 5:00 PM Friday Dec. 7, 2007. Visitation will be at Walnut Grove Baptist Church Sat. Dec. 8, 2007 at 9:00 AM . The Funeral service will be at Walnut Grove Baptist at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 8, 2007, Rev. Calvin Naylor & Rev. Brian Jones officiating.
