Wanda Hendrix

Mrs. Wanda (Sumner) Hendrix, age 71, of Morgantown, Ky., died Monday, December 6, 2004, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Mrs. Hendrix was a homemaker and was a member of Dunmor Church of Christ. She was the daughter of the late Bayliss Sumner and the late Bessie (Whitney) Sumner. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Evandy Hendrix She is survived by her Four Daughters, Mrs. Faye Walker of Vandalia, Ill. Mrs. Gloria Johnson of Sanford, N.C. Mrs. Jean Beadnell of Penrod, Ky. Mrs. Mary Henderson of Morgantown, Ky. One Son, Mr. Perry Hendrix of Dunmor, Ky. Three Sisters, Mrs. Rosalee Lyons of Dunmor, Ky. Mrs. Mildred Covington of Dunmor, Ky. Mrs. Margaret Covington of Lewisburg, Ky. One Brother, Mr. Thurman Sumner of Russellville, Ky. 14 Grandchildren 16 Great Grandchildren She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Welborn and a son Larry Wayne Hendrix. Arrangements are being handled by Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St. - P.O. Box 299, Lewisburg, Ky., where the family will receive friends after 6:00 PM Wednesday, December 8, 2004. Funeral service will be at Price Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 9, 2004 , Rev. Jeremy Whitney officiating. Interment will be at Wiley's Chapel Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ky.
