Robert "Ranny" Ryan, 80 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Thursday, February 3, 2011, at the home of his daughter - Lynn Franklin in Maryland Heights, Missouri. He was born on Tuesday, September 23, 1930 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, he was the son of the late D. A. Ryan and the late Hazel Hocker Ryan. He was the husband of the late Myrna Rinehart Ryan. He was a retired Bank Examiner. He served in the Army. He was a Veteran of Korea. He was a member of Lewisburg United Methodist Church. Surviving are sons, James Gaines of St. Louis, MO, Michael Gaines of St. Louis, MO and Kevin Gaines of St. Louis, MO, daughters, Lynn Franklin of Maryland Heights, MO and Tracy Shannon of Oak Ridge, TN; 9 grand children; 14 great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 7, 2011 at Lewisburg United Methodist Church located at Stacker St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Sandy Douglass, Rev. Bart Myers and Bro. Nathan Gaines officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 6, 2011, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
