Richard "Dick" William Porter, Sr.

Richard "Dick" William Porter, Sr., 65 of Auburn, Kentucky died on Sunday, November 21, 2010, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born on Wednesday, April 18, 1945 in Danville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late R. B. "Bunny" Porter and the late Gladys "Dolly" Taylor Porter. He was a retired Radar Installer with the U. S. Government. He served in the Marine Corps., Army and National Guard. He was a Veteran of Vietnam. Surviving are son, Richard William Porter, Jr. of Russellville, KY, sisters, Donna Jo Greer of Russellville, KY and Nancy Price of Russellville, KY; 2 grand children; Lola and Lyla Porter both of Russellville, KY. He was predeceased by sister, Georgiana Porter. A Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Quality Baptist Church Cemetery located at Hwy 106 Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Ronnie Forrest officiating.
