Michael Reyburn Duncan

Michael Reyburn Duncan, 68 of Youngsville, Louisiana died on Thursday, June 13, 2019 in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was born Thursday, December 28, 1950 in Russellville, Kentucky, the son of the late William Reyburn Duncan and the late Virginia O'Dell Duncan. He was the husband of the late Madeline Bourgeois Duncan. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Youngsville, Louisiana. Mike worked as an aircraft mechanic for PHI in Lafayette, Louisiana and Chevron in New Orleans, Louisiana until he retired in 2011. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends, especially his grand daughter Lillian Belle Strother. He also helped as a volunteer at the Youngsville Pantry. Surviving are son, Christopher Duncan-(Wendy) of Wonder Lake, IL, daughters, Honora Duncan of Allen, TX and Amanda Strother -(Farrell) of Youngsville, LA, sisters, Virginia Kay Duncan of Castalian Springs, TN and Pam Krancer of Castalian Springs, TN and grand daughter, Lillian Belle Strother of Youngsville, LA. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery located on Mt. Pleasant Road, Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Kenneth O'Dell officiating.
