Mary Ruth (Cropper) Rogers, born on September 25, 1955, in Russellville, Kentucky, passed away on August 6, 2025, in Bowling Green. A cherished daughter, sister, and mother, she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and gentle strength that will be forever remembered by those whose lives she touched.
Mary enjoyed her work as a loan assistant for US Bank. Her professional life was marked by her unwavering commitment to helping others and her profound sense of community. Throughout her life, Mary exemplified the spirit of service, offering support and compassion to those in need.
Her family was the cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her beloved son, Brian Rogers, who carries forward her immeasurable love and teachings. Mary shared laughter and heartfelt memories with her sister, Betty Aubrey, her brothers Weldon Cropper- (Lisa), Charles Cropper- (Kathy), and Ralph Cropper- (Fayetta), and sister-in-law Rita Cropper Orange. She also held a special place in her heart for her several nieces and nephews, who brought her immense joy and pride.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved parents, J. Weldon and Madis Parrish Cropper, and her siblings: her sister, Shirley Robertson, and her brother, John Cropper. The loss of these family members left an indelible mark on her life, which she carried with grace and resilience.
Friends and family are invited to honor Mary’s life at the visitation scheduled for August 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by her funeral service at 2:00 PM, both taking place at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E Green St, Lewisburg, Kentucky with Bro. Gary Ball officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mary's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, reminding us of the beauty in kindness, faith, and family. As we gather to celebrate her remarkable life, let us carry forward her legacy of love and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mary's memory to Hospice of Southern Kentucky and the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
