Joseph Morton Mayhugh

Mr. Joseph Morton Mayhugh, age 94, of Lewisburg, Ky., died Monday, October 30, 2006, at his residence. Mr. Mayhugh was a retired electrician and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, where he was the Choir Director for 42 years and a Deacon. He had 60+ years of perfect attendance at the Logan Baptist Association. He was also a member of the Lewisburg Lions Club. He was the son of the late Ambrose Mayhugh and the late Erdine (Hunt) Mayhugh. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Beulah Larell (Gilliam) Mayhugh; Two Daughters, Mrs. Geraldine (Mayhugh) McReynolds of Lewisburg, Ky. Mrs. Jo (Mayhugh) Crisp of Ladera Ranch, Calif. One Son, Mr. Dallas Mayhugh of Salem, Ore. Ten grandchildren Six great-grandchildren Memorial Contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Music Fund or to the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Fund. Arrangements are being handled by Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St. - P.O. Box 299, Lewisburg, Ky., where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, November 4, 2006 and from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM Sunday, November 5, 2006. Visitation will also be held on Sunday, November 6, 2006 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church from 1:00 PM until the Funeral Service which will be held at 2:00 PM. Rev. Joe Simmons and Rev.
