JD Key, 63, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, in Portland.

He was born Tuesday, December 4, 1962. He was the husband of Brenda Curry-Key of Lewisburg, who survives.

He was a roofer and spent many years working construction.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mandy Key and Rachael Hamm; four sons, Richie Glover, Adam Peak, Alex White, and Michael A. White; two sisters, Lisa Bussey and Carmen Shrum; brother, Marty Ray Pike; adopted son, Anuj Pokharel of Kathmandu, Nepal; 14 grandchildren; and a host of other family.

He was preceded in death by brother, Chester Key.

Cremation was chosen with private services to be held at a later date.
