Hubert Hershel Whitescarver

Hubert Hershel Whitescarver, 93 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at his home in Lewisburg, Kentucky. He was born Wednesday, August 28, 1918 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Henry Whitescarver and the late Emma Sharp Whitescarver. He was the husband of Thelma Tooley Whitescarver (of 71 years) who survives. He was a retired farmer and owner/operator of lumber mill. He was a member of Pleasant Union General Baptist Church. He was a Deacon (70 yrs) Pleasant Union General Baptist Church, Sunday School Teacher & Superintendent, General Baptist Home Mission Board, Long Creek Association Home Mission Board. Surviving are sister, Marlene Harrison of Lewisburg, KY., Several Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Guy Whitescarver, Melvin Whitescarver and Ernest Whitescarver, sister, Goldie Rainwaters. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 30, 2012 at Pleasant Union General Baptist Church located at 5529 Deerlick Rd. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256. with Bro. Garry Mitchell and Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Interment will be in McPherson Cemetery, Todd Co., KY. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM on Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
