Howard "Bud" Shutts, 78 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky, Inc. in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

He was born Saturday, May 22, 1948, the son of the late Howard E. Shutts and the late Earnestine "Ruth" Caughey. He was the husband of the late Dana Shutts.

Bud was a truck driver for Wright Trucking Company. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran. While serving, he earned the National Defense Service Medal.

Surviving are two daughters, Erin Ray of Lewisburg, KY and Cassandra of AZ; three sons, Adrian Shutts of Lewisburg, KY, Johnny Smith, Sr. of Mount Carmel, IL, Kye Shutts of CA; three sisters, Rosena Shutts of UT, Lin Cropper of Chanlder, KY, Mary Nichols of Sharon Grove, KY; five brothers, Michael Shutts of Sharon Grove, KY, Harold "Sunny" Shutts of Sharon Grove, KY, Patrick Shutts of Sharon Grove, KY, Matthew Shutts of Sharon Grove, KY, Eugene Shutts of Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by sister, Dorothy Smith.

A funeral service will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; with Chris Daniels officiating. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 6:00 pm and again on Friday, from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
