Helen Sue Brown

Helen Sue Brown, 76 of Sharon Grove died August 7, 2012 at her home. The Logan County native was born June 18, 1936 to the late James Herschel Spencer and Geneva Bond Spencer. She was a beautician, operating her own beauty shop and also worked at the Sharon Grove Daycare, the 106 Market and the family business, Sharon Grove Feed Mill. She was a Kentucky Colonel and Secretary of the Sharon Grove Fire Dept. for many years. She was a member of the Mt. Sharon Methodist Church and attended the Sharon Grove Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Ray Brown. Funeral service is at 10:00AM Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. in Lewisburg with Bro. Butch Hester officiating. Burial will follow in Gant Cemetery in Sharon Grove, KY. Visitation begins at 5:00PM on Wednesday. Survivors include her sons, Bobby Joe Brown and wife Sharon of Sharon Grove, and Mike Brown and wife Marieca of Bowling Green; grandchildren Derek Brown and Fiance' Heather Dunn of Sharon Grove and Nathaniel and Benjamin Brown both of Bowling Green.
