Gale Evan Mohon

Gale Evan Mohon, 60 of the Spa Rd. Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Friday, July 3, 2009, at his residence in Lewisburg. He was born Wednesday, August 18, 1948 in Greenville, Kentucky, the son of the late John Mohon and Evelyn (Coursey) Mohon Skipworth, of Lewisburg who survives. He was preceded in death by 1st wife, Daphne Mohon. He was married to Patsy (Thompson) Mohon, who survives. He was employed by Tree-O-Lumber in Elkton, KY. He served four years in the Navy. He was a Veteran of Vietnam. He was a ADR5 Propeller Aircraft Mechanic. He served his basic training in Great Lakes, IL. He also served at the Naval Air Force Bases in Millington, TN and Milton, FL. He was a member of Elk Lick Baptist Church and the Lewisburg Masonic Lodge 324 F&AM. Also surviving are daughter, Dana Mohon of Lewisburg, KY, brother, Dennis Mohon of Lewisburg, KY, sister, Angie Dudley of Lewisburg, KY; 2 grand children, Angela Brooklyn Nicole Haskins and Samantha Lea Grace Haskins of Lewisburg, KY; 3 step sons, Brian Hinton of Louisville, KY, Jamie Hinton of CA and Tony Hinton of Bowling Green, Ky; 4 step grand children, Matthew Hinton and Nick Hinton both of Auburn, KY, Austin Hinton of Portland, TN and Aaron Hinton of Morgantown, KY. He was predeceased by sister, Dianna Campbell. A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday at Elk Lick Baptist Church with the Rev. Glynn Copeland, Rev. Art Hatfield and Rev. Larry Eaton officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. A masonic service will be held at 7:30 PM on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at the funeral home. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 5, 2009, and from 8:00AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, July 6, 2009 at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
