Era Alton Gower, 94 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at his home in Russellville, Kentucky. He was born on Friday, February 18, 1916 in Logan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Joseph Gower and the late Emily Latham Gower. He was the husband of Mary Stuart Gower who survives. He was a retired inspector from Rockwell and also retired Methodist minister. He was a member of Epley United Methodist Church. Surviving are daughter, Sue Waggoner of Russellville, KY; 2 grand children; Marla Burchett of Atlanta, GA, Bregetta Serafin of Russellville, KY; 3 great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Wayne Hunter and Rev. Travis Bryan officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Russellville, KY. The family will receive friends at 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 26, 2010, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
