Elvin Gibbs, 91 of Granite City, Illinois died on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at his residence. He was born Monday, October 31, 1927 in Nashville, Tennessee, the son of the late Elbert Gibbs and the late Mary Cabbage Gibbs. He was the husband of the late Margaret Johnson Gibbs. He served in the Navy and was a Veteran of World War II. There will be no public services. Interment will be in Elk Lick Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
