David Knight, 79 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, at his residence in Lewisburg, Kentucky.
He was born Monday, January 8, 1945, the son of the late Albert Lee Knight and the late Dorothy Nell Stokes. He was the husband of the late Barbara Elnora Winsett Knight.
He worked in maintenance at Emerson Electric and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Jane (Davy) Ziegler of Washington, IN, Terry Lynn Knight of Russellville, KY; son, David "Day-Day" (Jeanie) Moore of Russellville, KY; two sisters, Carolyn Cole of Elkton, KY, Marilyn McFerron of Elkton, KY; two brothers, Harold Eugene (Helen) Knight of Hopkinsville, KY, Daniel Knight of Elkton, KY; 8 Grandchildren; 17 Great-grandchildren; 1 Great-great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by son, Jeffery "Seymore" Moore, brother, Paul Knight, grandson, Cpl. Joshua Moore.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery located at 318 Mt. Pleasant Rd. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Ronnie Forrest officiating.
