Danny Ray Sumner, 65 of Sharon Grove, Kentucky died on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Hospice of Southern Ky. in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born on Tuesday, April 10, 1945 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Carson Sumner and Gracie Kirby Sumner of Lewisburg who survives. He was the husband of Lois Proctor Sumner, who survives. He was employed by Sensus in the Maintenance area. He was a member of Sharon Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are daughters, Alesa Rutledge of Hendersonville, TN, Kim Anderson of Russellville, KY, Sherrie White of Ellenboro, NC and Cindy Baxter of Bowling Green, KY, brother, Charles Sumner of Lewisburg, KY, sisters, Lena Milam of Bowling Green, KY and Linda Sue Chapman of Lewisburg, KY; 10 grand children. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 31, 2010 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Tom Moody officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Butler Co., KY. The family will receive friends at 5:00 PM on Sunday, May 30, 2010, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
