Bennie Lyle Whitson

Bennie Lyle Whitson, 71 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on Wednesday, November 1, 1939 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Earl Whitson and the late Mildred Stuart Whitson. He was a retired Parts Manager for several Car Dealerships and had also worked at Smith Douglas. He served in the Navy. He was a Veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of Elk Lick Baptist Church. He was a member of the American Legion. Surviving are daughters, Lisa Long of Lebanon, TN and Laura Beuerlein of Hermitage, TN, brother, Ken Whitson of Lewisburg, KY, sister, Zelma Cundiff of Russellville, KY; 4 grand children. He was predeceased by sister, Barbara Key. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 31, 2010 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Art Hatfield and Mr. Mitch Cundiff officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
