Alpha Joines

Mrs. Alpha (McElwain) Joines, age 83, of Evansville, Ind., died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at the Angel River Rehab Center in Newburgh, Ind. Mrs. Joines was a homemaker and a member of Wileys Chapel United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Rudolph McElwain and the late Emma (Burnett) McElwain. She was the wife of the late Vernon Jewell Joines. She is survived by her One Grand Daughter, Christine Joines of Evansville, In. One Grand Son, Scott Joines of Evansville, In. One Sister, Donie Sharp of Lewisburg, Ky. Two great-grandchildren She was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Jewell Joines. Arrangements are being handled by Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St. - P.O. Box 299, Lewisburg, Ky., where the family will receive friends after 6:00 PM Thursday, March 8, 2007. Funeral service will be at Price Funeral Home Inc. at 1:00 PM Friday, March 9, 2007 , Rev. Marty Heltsley officiating. Interment will be at Wiley's Chapel Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ky.
