She was born on Friday, December 8, 1922 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late S. E. Childress and the late Carrie Miller Childress. She was the wife of the late John Henry Coursey. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Elk Lick Baptist Church. Surviving are daughters, Sherrie Taylor of Russellville, KY and Sue Sweeney of Clifty, KY; 14 grand children; 25 great grand children and 8 great great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256. Interment will be in Chandlers Cemetery, Auburn, KY. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM on Monday, January 23, 2012, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
