History

In July 1948, Wallace Ryan Price and his wife, Dorothy started construction on a two story building on Green Street in Lewisburg, Ky. that would become Price Funeral Home. In January 1949 Price Funeral Home opened.

On January 1, 1961 Wallace Ryan Price and his son Wallace Bryson (Buddy) Price formed a partnership. This partnership stayed in existence until Wallace Ryan Price's death on November 2, 1981.

On January 1, 1985, Wallace Bryson (Buddy) Price and his son, Michael Bryson Price formed a partnership. This partnership remained until January 1, 1993, at which time they incorporated Price Funeral Home. The current stockholders are Wallace Bryson (Buddy) Price, Michael Bryson Price and his wife Susan Marie Holloway Price.

Since 1948 we have remained family-owned. By remaining independently owned, we are committed to provide you with an affordable, quality service.
